Hi, I'm Wayne Jordan.
I specialize in business brokerage and liquidation services for small businesses located within Virginia's New River Valley and Blue Ridge Highlands (in the mountains of Southwestern Virginia). CONFIDENTIALITY:
The fact that you are selling your business will not be disclosed to anyone until the proper time. Until then, anything said in our private conversations stays private. In fact, I'll sign a confidentiality / non-disclosure agreement at our first meeting.
EXPERIENCE:
I've owned five businesses in the past 35 years. I've purchased three existing businesses and started two from scratch. Of the five, three were sold, one was liquidated, and one continues to operate. I've done Major Event sales of every type. I've had up to 27 employees at a time, and I've never missed a payroll. I've been "around the block" with accountants, lawyers, landlords, inspectors, and the tax man. I've made money and lost money. I've walked in your shoes. We speak the same language.
MARKETING:
I'll make your business look so good, you may want to keep it. If you're selling, I'll recast the financial statements (to reflect current market values of real estate, equipment, cash flows, etc). Then, I'll assemble an information package for prospective buyers. When that's done, I will promote your business through internet saturation, targeted trade magazines, direct mail and broker cooperation. If you're liquidating, I'll plan and execute a store closing sale that will sell everything to the walls in a matter of weeks.
